New Jerusalem | Zion – City of Love and Peace

Humble, meek servants of God full of virtue, long-suffering, and patience will take care of the poor and will use all property and abundance for the common good of all. Sacrifice will be required of all those residing in the New Jerusalem.

I believe not too far in the distant future, the New Jerusalem or Zion will begin to be built somewhere in the mountains (my personal belief is that it will be in the Rocky Mountains).

And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.

And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. Isaiah 2:2-3

I feel the movings of deep hope and longing as I anticipate the forthcoming events leading to the development of this city of love and peace.

The Heart and Mind of God will be a Requirement

Those receiving an invitation to the New Jerusalem or Zion will learn of God’s higher path.  Each person in this city will have the heart and mind of God because they have individually been connected to God.  After each of us has become one with God, and only then, can we become one with each other. It is impossible for men to become one with each other until after each individual has become one with God.

Authoritative men, pride, envy, jealousy, strife, stealing, deceiving, and adultery, will be non-existent in this city of love and peace.  Humble, meek servants of God full of virtue, long-suffering, and patience will take care of the poor and will use all property and abundance for the common good of all. Sacrifice will be required of all those residing in the New Jerusalem.

Denver Snuffer describes the New Jerusalem or Zion in a series of blogs titled “All or Nothing”. Here are some highlights:

  • No police
  • No lawyers
  • No courts
  • No prisons
  • No commerce
  • No taxes
  • No business licenses to regulate
  • No administration
  • No social assistance from governments of men

Snuffer also explains the exciting newness of Zion:

  • A new form of government introduced and taught by God. Personally, I believe there will be a large portal of light opened that will connect earth with heaven so all those in this city of love and peace will be able to move freely between heaven and earth.
  • Entirely new laws
  • A new way of thinking
  • A new social order
  • A new economy of exchange without money
  • No contention
  • A desire to serve others.  A great example of this is Jesus Christ:

Christ, came not to be served but to serve others. He did not “lord over” others, but He knelt to elevate them. He came as a meek and lowly servant and went about doing good. He died to save the lives of others. When He arose from the dead, He went to the Father and advocated forgiveness for those who despised and abused Him.

  • A place of safety.  God will be our protector as taught in the Bible by Daniel.

Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands (no violence), which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces.

Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold (all these metals represent various places that will become like chaff and be carried away by the wind), broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth. Daniel 2:34-35

Snuffer unaffiliated with a Church

FYI, Snuffer is not affiliated with a church.  He believes and I believe that God’s church is not an institution; it is a body of believers.  All those in God’s church are spiritually connected to God not institutionally connected. Snuffer is a humble servant who has been commanded by God to prepare those who desire to live a higher existence in the New Jerusalem by directly connecting with God.
