What influences your thoughts? Thought influences can be simply categorized into two categories:
- Love generated influences from God
- Fear generated influences from the adversary
Spirit of Love – What influences your thoughts
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
2 Timothy 1:7
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
1 John 4:18
We are born with an innate spirit of love but the majority are quickly immersed into fear-based environments and are subject to many temptations (promoted by the adversary and his followers) teaching people to become oriented to fear.
Light or Darkness – What influences your thoughts
If you think it is easy to tell the difference between light and darkness, you may want to reconsider this assumption. There are those who appear to be good or righteous (light), but they are pretending, and actually seek an evil agenda to control others and/or to accumulate wealth.
There are dark negative entities that reside in the spirit world (located on the surface of the earth) posing as beings of light. Negative entities tell lies in order to lure people with the intention to eventually employ control over them through various deceptions and addictions.
Additionally, negative entities are clever in making you think their thoughts are your own by mixing you up as to what is light (love) and what is dark (fear). Frog Analogy
If a frog is suddenly put into boiling water, it will immediately try to jump out. On the other hand, if a frog is immersed into tepid water which is then slowly brought to a boil, the frog is cooked to death without noticing it was in danger.
Like the frog analogy, negative entities know they cannot start at the point of a boiling temperature and still be successful at luring people to follow their agenda. They are smart and understand it is necessary to start at a tepid temperature gradually influencing individuals through skillful deception and trickery subtly promoting darkness, negativity, and love desensitization.
Why would anyone choose darkness over light if they understood what was really happening and the possible associated dangers? Dark entities and dark people promoting fear entice targeted individuals usually without them being aware of the risks involved. They often become confused and unknowingly find themselves trapped by a web of lies and “hard to overcome” addictions. Nevertheless, it is the responsibility for everyone to recognize and overcome confusion. I believe this is accomplished by attaining the gift of discernment through a heavenly gift called the Holy Ghost. This opens the door for long-term healing to be achieved.
Energy work alert
When working with energy, there can be risks. Strive to raise your awareness of the fact that not all energy workers are working with forces of love (light). Sometimes, rather it is knowingly or unknowingly, energy workers can be influenced by negative entities posing as light energy. Therefore, they can actually be tapped into forces of fear (darkness) rather than love. If you have been immersed into fear-based environments your whole life, it takes practice to recognize the difference between the energy of fear and love.

I always encourage people to learn to do their own energy work or to work only with those you are CERTAIN can be trusted.
I worked with a woman who picked up some terrible negative entities while practicing deep meditation. I encourage you to be prayerful and ask God every day for guidance to successfully discern between the energy of love and fear even when doing energy work.
Conclusion- What influences your thoughts
Strive to consider what influences your thoughts. Because there are those who do not speak truth, you must be vigilant in always assessing the spirit of love from the spirit of fear.
It is necessary to master discerning between truth and lies, and love (light) or fear (darkness), in order to make good choices that lead to happiness.
There are only two ways: the way I lead, that goes upward in light and truth unto Eternal lives — and if you turn from it, you follow the way of darkness and the deaths.

Before making choices, constantly assess if dark forces may be posing as light to incrementally influence your thoughts negatively. The more familiar you are with God’s ways, the easier it is to discern between light (love) and darkness (fear).
