When I have unsolicited thoughts pop into my head, I believe they are from heaven if the thoughts are in keeping with the scriptures. I had a prayer for light and love to myself and others come to my mind that I feel has blessed me and my family. When I discover words that are a blessing, I desire to share them with others.
Working on Healing
I have been working on healing myself for several years. I think the reason the words of this prayer for light and love to myself and others came to my mind is that I have a deep desire to heal and to help those around me heal. I believe in the power of words.
Prayer for Light and Love
By the power of Jesus Christ (or whatever title is preferred to call upon heavenly power), I command an added portion of light and love to be bestowed upon _______________(Name) for the purpose of replacing the most destructive darkness in their body, mind and spirit. I pray your added light will enable_________(Name) to move forward in healing through your grace and mercy. Thank you for allowing me and my loved ones to borrow your light and love.
The words do not need to be exact; in fact, it is always best to say words in a way that fits your personality with heartfelt emotion and meaning.
