I realized my inner urge to find
Light heals
Since healing is about replacing darkness with light, therefore when desiring to heal, the goal is to generate light. This motivated me to find explanations about truth and light.
Truth is light
Actually, the relationship between truth and light doesn’t seem to be complex. I believe the warmth I feel from truth comes from
For the word of the Lord is truth, and whatsoever is truth is light
D&C 84:45
Truth generates from God who is light
If truth is light, it generates from God who is light as explained in these words.
That which is of God is light; and he that receiveth light, and continueth in God, receiveth more light;
D&C 50:24
Healing by embracing truth – Generated through light
I don’t know why I didn’t make this connection before because it is quite simple. Healing requires light, and truth is light so healing by embracing
Impossible to heal when filled with unbelief
It is logical that it wouldn’t be possible to heal if you are filled with unbelief. Unbelief means drawing upon information that is incomplete, inaccurate, or false.
It makes sense healing would be difficult if you have only part of the needed information or incorrect/false information.
Healing by embracing truth
I had never realized before that healing can occur in conjunction with finding
The truth will make you free
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
John 8:32
I would certainly consider overall wellness, emotionally, spiritually, mentally, and physically to be very freeing.
Conclusion
If you desire to heal, you may want to try searching for truth that is scattered everywhere too. This method of generating light has definitely helped me to become healthier emotionally, spiritually, mentally, and physically. And although I have been on this journey for quite a few years, I didn’t even realize healing by embracing truth was happening until now.
