Today, I woke up knowing it was the time to tell about an experience with the hope that sharing this story will help others who are struggling with similar difficulties. Our son, Darrell, was not living at home but we could tell he was struggling and his ability to make decisions had dwindled. We were concerned. We were on the verge of learning first-hand what a fractured spirit (aka a fragmented soul) was, and the problems it can cause.
A few months after observing Darrell’s struggles, he tried to drown himself but was recovered safely. Shortly thereafter, he tried to kill himself by forcefully ramming his head into a wall. He cracked his head open in the middle of his forehead assuredly traumatizing the frontal lobe of his brain. I don’t recall exactly how many stitches he had but I believe it was over 40.
Darrell admitted he was hearing voices telling him he was a complete loser and failure. These voices had convinced him he needed to die in order to have purpose and to help others get rid of their darkness. He believed it was his mission to carry other people’s darkness through the sacrifice of dying. If you are thinking that doesn’t make any sense, you are right it doesn’t!
Seeing people that others around him couldn’t see
Darrell was also seeing people that others around him couldn’t see. These mysterious beings were also striving to convince him it was noble to die for the greater good of others. We didn’t know it at the time, but we learned later through medical professionals when people see and hear things other people don’t, they are experiencing psychosis.
Prevention and praying
Darrell moved back home and we quickly got rid of all our guns to lessen the opportunities for him to take his life. We were diligently praying for guidance, and searching for answers. Shortly thereafter, we were led to some new friends who helped us.
New concepts – Fractured Spirit
Our new friends taught us about dark entities including demons and how to pray for their removal. One of our new friends has the gift to see and hear beings from the spirit world. She explained Darrell was plagued by lots of dark entities and it was their goal to prevent Darrell from completing his mission to bring about good.
Our new spiritually gifted friend also taught us that about 55% of Darrell’s spirit had exited his physical body which is referred to as a fractured spirit. She explained God created the spirit body with the ability to let go of “overburdened and darkened” portions of the spirit for a “so-called” vacation from stress, abuse, trauma, etc. Sometimes burdens become greater than the strength to endure so God provided a way to protect the core spirit from becoming oversaturated in darkness.
Worse – Fractured Spirit
Our experience has been, the greater percentage of the spirit that leaves the physical body, the worse it is. It is my observation, “worse” meaning there is more space for dark entities to invade the body.
Prayer to heal a fractured spirit
After our new friends helped us get rid of the dark entities tormenting Darrell, they taught us how to say a prayer to heal a fractured spirit that I shared in another blog at the provided link.
Within twenty-four hours of working on Darrell, his crazy out-of-control thoughts became manageable. There was no doubt we had witnessed a miracle. Gratitude to God!
Conclusion – Journey
This experience began the journey of the daily removal of dark entities and healing of Darrell’s fractured spirit through the power of prayer, and also dealing with the negative residue entities leave behind.
We aren’t certain why we continue to war with demons and other types of dark entities who continue striving to negatively influence Darrell, but we are battling dark forces with trust in God. We have learned how to pray more effectively as we deal with the world of darkness we had no idea existed two and a half years ago. Thankfully Darrell is alive, is no longer suicidal, and has been psychosis free for over six months.
I shared another personal soul healing experience if you would like to read about it.
